To assemble the air filter, simply cut the plastic tie that secures the top and bottom, and undo the four clips on the sides of the pan to release the bottom. The floor to bottom of the door opening measures 8.5 inches.
Please note that the bottom is inverted and placed inside the top for shipping purposes.
