1. We recommend either boiling or soaking the wood for an extended period, ideally 2-3 hours. It is advisable to add soda or salt to the water and ensure the wood is boiled for at least 1 hour. During this process, the color of the wood may darken as the tannins are released.

2. It is recommended to change the water and boil the wood three more times for 1 hour each time until all the tannins have been released.
